1. Definitions

• "Workshop" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" refers to Twilight Escapement, located at 38 Thanon Phra Athit, Chana Songkhram, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand.
• "Client" / "You" refers to any individual who submits a watch to the Workshop for inspection, repair, or restoration, or who uses the Website.
• "Services" refers to watch inspection, repair, regulation, and restoration services provided by the Workshop.
• "Watch" / "Timepiece" refers to any mechanical, automatic, or quartz watch or clock submitted to the Workshop.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions, together with any written service quotation accepted by the Client.
• "Website" refers to the website at {{DOMAIN}}.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a watch to the Workshop or by using the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not submit a watch or use the Website.

Our services are available to persons aged 18 years and over. By engaging our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

You also confirm that the watch submitted is your property or that you have the authority of the owner to submit it for service.

3. Services

We provide the following services:

• Inspection & Routine Care (฿4,600): movement examination, rate recording, seal and crystal review, cleaning and lubrication where appropriate, written condition report.
• Repair & Regulation (฿17,000): full inspection, replacement of worn components, balance regulation, water resistance testing and renewal, service documentation.
• Restoration & Vintage Care (฿44,500): complete overhaul, period-correct parts sourcing, case and crystal work as agreed, restoration dossier with photography and records.

Services are available to clients in Thailand. International clients may contact us to discuss arrangements for delivery and return of timepieces.

4. Quotation and Consent to Proceed

No work will commence without a written quotation being provided to and accepted by the Client. The quotation will state the proposed scope of work and cost. The Client's written or electronic acceptance of the quotation constitutes authorisation to proceed.

If, during the course of work, additional findings are identified that would affect the scope or cost, the Workshop will pause and contact the Client before proceeding. Work on the additional scope will not begin until a revised quotation has been accepted.

An initial consultation to view a watch and discuss its condition is provided without charge and without obligation to proceed with any service.

5. Client Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information about the watch's history and any known defects at the time of submission.
• You must collect the watch within 30 days of notification that the service is complete. Storage beyond this period may incur a charge at the Workshop's discretion.
• You must ensure that you are entitled to submit the watch for service — it must be your property or submitted with the owner's written authority.
• Use of the Website must be lawful and respectful of others.

6. Payment

Payment is due in full in Thai Baht (฿) upon collection of the watch, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash and major credit and debit cards. The watch will not be released until full payment has been received.

In the event that a Client declines to proceed following a detailed technical inspection (where such an inspection was required to produce a quotation), a diagnostic assessment fee may be charged. This will be communicated to the Client before any such inspection begins.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, images, and design — is the property of Twilight Escapement or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the Website without our prior written consent.

Service documentation and restoration dossiers produced by us in the course of servicing your watch are provided to you for your personal use and for the purpose of the watch's provenance record. They may not be reproduced for commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided with reasonable skill and care appropriate to an independent horological workshop. However, we cannot warrant specific outcomes — in particular for watches in poor condition, with unknown histories, or with non-original modifications — as results depend on factors outside our control including the age and prior treatment of the timepiece.

Information on the Website is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute professional advice. We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of Website content alone.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, our liability to you in connection with any service shall be limited to the price paid for that service. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss, including loss of use of the watch during service.

We are not liable for defects or damage in a watch that arise from pre-existing conditions that were not identified in the initial inspection due to their latent nature, provided we applied reasonable skill in conducting that inspection.

10. Cancellation and Termination

A Client may withdraw authorisation for work to proceed at any time before that work has commenced. If work has already begun, reasonable costs for work completed to date may be charged.

The Workshop reserves the right to decline or return a service request at any stage if it is not possible to complete the work to a satisfactory standard, or if the Client is in breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or from our Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

In the first instance, we encourage Clients to contact us directly to seek an informal resolution. We will make reasonable efforts to address any concern promptly and fairly.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Website or our services following any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
