When components are needed, we source original or period-appropriate parts rather than substitutes. This takes longer, but it matters for the watch's performance and value.

Our founder trained formally in Switzerland and has worked across mechanical horology for over eighteen years. This is not a background in jewellery or general repairs extended to watches — it is a dedicated watchmaking practice built over a career spent at the bench.

Good watchmaking requires appropriate equipment — not the most expensive on the market, but the right tool for each task. Our workshop is equipped with the instruments needed for honest measurement and thorough service, without relying on estimations or intuition where measurement is possible.
Timing results, water resistance readings, and cleaning records form part of the documentation provided with every watch returned from service.
Client Experience
A conversation, not a transaction
We approach each client consultation with care. There is time set aside to hear about the watch, understand its history, and explain what we observe. No hurried desk assessment, no assumption that we already know what is needed before looking carefully.
Communication continues through the service. If findings change, you hear from us before anything proceeds. When the watch is ready, we walk through what was done and what we would suggest watching for.

All prices are for the service as described. Supplementary work, if needed and agreed, is quoted separately before proceeding.

Personal Restoration Dossier
For restoration services, we compile a dossier — photographs before and after, parts sourcing notes, timing records, and the watchmaker's observations. This travels with the watch and adds to its documented history.
No Obligation First Consultation
Bringing a watch in for an initial conversation is always without obligation. We look, we share what we observe, and we leave the next step entirely to the owner. This is not common practice — but we believe it is the correct one.
Collector Value Awareness
Before any cosmetic work, we discuss its likely effect on the watch's collector desirability. Unnecessary polishing or dial work can reduce value significantly. We prefer owners to make that decision with full information.
Parts Sourcing Network
Through years of work with vintage calibres, we have developed relationships with specialist parts suppliers in Europe and Japan. When a correct component is available, we find it rather than substituting something approximate.
