"I brought in a 1960s Omega Constellation that had not been serviced in over fifteen years. Thawatchai was patient in explaining what the movement needed and what could wait. The watch came back running consistently and, honestly, more elegantly than before. The written report was a welcome detail I had not expected."

"I inherited my father's Patek Philippe and was nervous about trusting it to anyone. A friend who collects pointed me toward Twilight Escapement. What I appreciated most was that they told me clearly when the watch did not need a particular service I had assumed was necessary. That kind of honesty is not easy to find."

"The restoration of my grandfather's Longines took about eight weeks, which I knew going in. What I did not expect was how thoroughly documented the process would be — photographs at each stage, notes on every part sourced or retained. It was a serious piece of work on a watch that deserved it."

"Finding a workshop in Bangkok with genuine mechanical watch knowledge is not simple. Twilight Escapement is the exception. I have had two pieces serviced here — an IWC and a vintage Rolex — and both received careful attention with results I could measure. Clear pricing, no surprises."

"My Audemars Piguet needed regulation after several years without service. The timing charts before and after made it clear what had been achieved. Natthida was easy to communicate with throughout, and the consultation at collection was genuinely useful."

"I came in for an inspection on a piece I was considering purchasing second-hand. The assessment was thorough and gave me exactly what I needed to make a clear decision. I ended up not buying the watch — which was the right outcome — and I felt the workshop was completely honest in helping me reach it."

Case Studies
Three watches, three journeys
Case Study 01 · Vintage Omega · Constellation 1962
A movement that had not been touched in two decades
Challenge
The watch arrived running erratically — gaining several minutes daily — with dried lubricants and a worn pallet fork. The crown seal had failed and the case showed signs of moisture ingress at some earlier point.
Solution
Full Repair & Regulation service. Pallet fork replaced with a period-matched component sourced from our European network. Movement cleaned, re-lubricated, and balance regulated. Crown seal replaced, case resealed and pressure-tested.
Outcome
Watch returned gaining +4 seconds daily — within tolerance for the calibre's age. Water resistance confirmed at manufacturer's original specification. Owner kept the original patina on dial and hands as advised.
Duration: 3 weeks · Service: Repair & Regulation · Cost: ฿17,000
Case Study 02 · Longines · Heritage Piece c.1948
A restoration undertaken in full knowledge of the watch's history
Challenge
A family piece with strong sentimental value, long unserviced and with a cracked crystal, missing crown, and movement showing significant age-related wear. Previous amateur attempts at service visible internally.
Solution
Restoration & Vintage Care service. Appropriate mineral crystal sourced and fitted. Crown identified and sourced from specialist supplier in Geneva. Movement fully overhauled. Dial and case left with original surfaces as directed by the owner.
Outcome
Watch returned with a 47-page restoration dossier — photographs, parts sourcing documentation, movement history notes, and timing data. Running within ±8 seconds daily. Owner described receiving it as comparable to meeting an old friend again.
Duration: 9 weeks · Service: Restoration & Vintage Care · Cost: ฿44,500
Case Study 03 · Jaeger-LeCoultre · Reverso · Contemporary
An inspection that became a discussion, not a service
Situation
Owner brought a five-year-old Reverso for inspection, concerned it was losing time. The watch had been purchased new and serviced once by the brand centre.
Finding
Timing measurement showed the movement running within +6 seconds daily — normal for the calibre. The perceived issue traced to wearing habits. No service was needed, and the inspection report confirmed the watch's condition clearly.
Outcome
No charge for the initial consultation. Owner left with a written timing report and a clear schedule for when next to consider service. A relationship built on honesty rather than a service that was not needed.
Duration: 1 consultation · Service: Inspection (no service required) · No charge
